Why you shouldn’t dry your hair in the bathroom: This mistake ruins the hair of 9 out of 10 women

In order for the hair to lie obediently, remain voluminous, lint-free and shine beautifully, you cannot do without cosmetics and auxiliary tools. And at least – without the good old hair dryer.

As common as it is to demonize the hair dryer and tout the natural drying of hair, it’s actually the direct flow of warm air that’s most beneficial for curls. Thanks to this, the hair cuticles close faster, which minimizes excessive deformation and damage. In addition, it is thanks to the hair dryer that the strands become more voluminous, but at the same time more obedient. Although it is quite possible that you do not notice it: if you dry your hair in the bathroom.

High humidity slows the drying of hair. And this also affects the appearance of the hairstyle: moisture from the air settles on the strands and is absorbed there – and takes away the already unstable and difficult to achieve natural hair volume.

Of course, it is very convenient to dry your hair in the bathroom: after all, many people here often have a large mirror and well-placed sockets in relation to it. But it is better to go to any other room. Or turn on the hood, open the bathroom door wide open and wait at least a little – so that the atmosphere in the bathroom becomes almost as “dry” as in the rest of the house.
