How To Look 11 Years Younger In 2 Months: Scientists Have Discovered A Female Diet To Reduce Biological Age

What would you eat to lose weight and at the same time look younger? Scientists have finally found the answer to this eternal question by conducting research on a group of women over 50.

We are what we eat and nothing else. Despite helpful sweeteners, “zero” calorie snacks and other achievements of modern dietetics, it’s a balanced diet that works best. Scientists have once again come to this conclusion. And at the same time, we found out which foods in the diet best contribute to the rejuvenation of the body.

In the study The University of Virginia was attended by six women between the ages of 56 and 58. For eight weeks, the participants of the experiment had to follow strict rules of a healthy lifestyle: get enough sleep, exercise for 30 minutes a day and follow a special diet.

As a result, after 2 months, all women not only lost weight and began to feel better, but, judging by the survey, they significantly reduced their biological age. On average, all participants were 5 years younger. And in one case, the organism’s biological age went from 57 to 46!

Researchers tried to develop the most satisfying and varied diet for participants that was comfortable to maintain for a long time, without high risks of injury. For two months, women were advised to eat a minimum of sugar, dairy products, cereals and legumes.

  • The focus was on greens and vegetables. Each day, participants in the experiment had to eat 200 grams of cabbage and green vegetables, 300 grams of colored vegetables (mainly beets and eggplants), as well as at least one serving of apples, berries or grapefruit.
  • In addition, every day women ate meat of different varieties, twice a week – eggs, and once a week – liver dishes.
  • In addition, their diet included pumpkin and sunflower seeds and spices – turmeric and rosemary. Agree, this turns out to be a pretty satisfying diet!

Another rule the women followed was the observance of a gentle version of intermittent fasting. They were allowed to eat from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The rest of the time it was allowed to drink clean water – and to distract the awakened appetite with breathing exercises. Probably, at least selective compliance with these tips will not be superfluous. After all, we all want to feel good, right?
