She divorced a deputy, goes to space: how a Russian woman lives, who became the first “Mrs. World”

Sofya Arzhakovskaya is the youngest participant in Ms. Russia: she was only 18 at the time of the contest. At that time, a young ballerina from St. Petersburg was just beginning to get acquainted with family life. Immediately after school she married politician and businessman Sergei Veremeenko. The man was then 50 years old.

After winning the beauty contest, Sophia decided not to return to Russia. Instead, the girl shortened her last name to a more sonorous one – Skye – and set out to conquer Hollywood. Sophia studied acting at various film schools in Los Angeles, filmed her own films. She even joined the Screen Actors Guild of America.

In parallel, Sofia Skye continued to act in domestic and European cinema: however, the ratings for these films were often extremely low. But recently, a real breakthrough happened in Sophia’s film career: she played a small role in the space drama Challenge.

In early June, Skye, 35, became a mother for the second time. Sophia managed to keep the pregnancy a secret literally until the moment of birth. Who is the father of the star’s daughter is unknown. Judging by information from open sources, the actress divorced MP Veremeenko in 2018, three years after the birth of her eldest son.
