What Social Media Makeup Really Looks Like – You can’t trust beauty bloggers because of this!

Social media is full of skincare, hair and makeup ideas. However, do not trust the express makeup tutorials of Internet stars: in most cases, in reality, the makeup of their face is completely different from that of the video.

Many girls have become real celebrities thanks to short videos on social networks in which they sing popular hits and turn into unreal beauties in a minute. Their makeup looks flawless – but for some reason, in most cases, we still can’t get over it.

However, don’t be too quick to blame your modest makeup stash, “difficult” skin, or inexperience for the unfortunate result. Of course, these are all important factors. But makeup on social media is completely different as many beauty bloggers twist their tutorials dishonestly, initially applying powerful photo filters to clean up the skin.

A well-known blogger, Lizzy Turner, showed a stark difference in a makeup tutorial with and without retouching. The photo filter has smoothed Lizzie’s skin so much that her uneven skin tone, redness and acne scars are completely gone!

In reality, the girl could not completely hide skin imperfections behind cosmetics – after all, in fact, the more layers of tone, concealer and powder we apply to problem skin, the more existing flaws stand out.
