How to protect your hair at the beach: this inexpensive but effective remedy is often forgotten by many

The sun and sea water form a devastating duo for curls, which leads to dryness and damage to the hair. To reduce the negative effect of a beach vacation, do not forget to use this tool, which can be purchased at any store and at a very affordable price.

We are used to carefully preparing for a beach vacation, buying sunscreen for the face and body – in different formats and with excellent SPF factors. But many seem to forget the hair, believing that a moisturizing mask at the end of the evening will be enough for them. However, ultraviolet rays do not affect curls as critically as on the skin.

Of course, after the beach, you really need to wash your hair with a mild shampoo and a conditioning mask. But it is better to take protective measures even during the day: after all, in addition to UV rays, salt water affects the hair. It is she who is much stronger than the sun, hardens them and causes damage.

In order to protect your hair from the waves of the sea, there is no need to look for professional hair products designed for the beach. It will be enough to apply your favorite vegetable oil to the strands: olive, coconut, almond or any other that is in your beauty funds.

It is impossible to maintain perfect style on the beach, especially if you like not only to sunbathe, but also to actively swim. Applying oil to your hair is therefore a great option to relax and keep your hair soft and strong. And the oil is unlikely to be completely washed off the length, no matter how many times you enter the water.

It is best to apply the oil to your hair and tie it into a tight bun. However, you can leave your hair loose – and periodically renew the protective layer of oil.
