Lymphatic drainage
Before travel, especially if you have a long flight, pay attention to lymphatic drainage techniques designed to improve overall lymphatic flow in the body. These may be pressotherapy sessions. Some airports even have special lounges where you can get pressotherapy sessions literally stepping off the plane.
It is worth paying attention to such a procedure as RSL. It is a microvibration effect on the skin of the body for the purpose of lymphatic drainage to reduce tissue flaccidity and swelling. Another great option is shockwave therapy, which will improve your joint function and reduce the appearance of subcutaneous fat. Often these techniques are performed in a course. If an express effect is desired, they can be combined with anti-cellulite or draining wraps for maximum results.
Delicate peels
Before the trip, you can perform safe peels, which, without excessive removal of the stratum corneum, will make the skin smoother and more toned. There are two directions for facial skin: JetPeel gas-liquid peeling (it can also be performed on the scalp) and ProFacial – aqua peeling performed with special serums to smooth the manifestations of hyperkeratosis. All this, combined with the right home care, will produce an incredible effect, and you will certainly be the most beautiful on the beach.
Bonus: a trip to the pharmacy
Another important point is to take care of your health from within, since photoaging processes affect all of our skin. If we forget about sun cosmetics, neglect safe hours in the sun, and also have the first or second light skin phototype, there is a high probability of having pronounced photodermatitis, which can go as far as burns.
In this situation, it is worth taking a first aid kit with you on vacation. It may contain anti-burn ointments that accelerate skin regeneration and relieve symptoms of photodermatitis. Be sure to take sunscreen and creams containing zinc with you.
It will not be superfluous to drink certain vitamin complexes before the holidays. They often include fat-soluble vitamins: retinol palmitate (vitamin A), vitamins E and D. There is also a complex with lycopene contained in tomatoes: it is he who reduces the sensitivity of the skin to ultraviolet rays.
