The Italian technique is far from being a new trend in manicure, which we already told you about in detail at the beginning of the year. Recently, however, the unusual method of applying varnish has gained popularity due to the clever effect of plate elongation. We decided to remind you once again what exactly an Italian manicure is, and also talk about an easy way to repeat it without anyone’s help.

This is not a new trend, but a nail hack that allows you to visually adjust the shape of the plate using a special varnish application technique. In this case, the masters cover the nail bed in the center, leaving small gaps on the sides and at the level of the cuticle, which creates the visual illusion of more elongated nails.

It is better to use more saturated shades of varnish for these purposes: red, deep blue, black. Italiano manicure will be a real salvation for owners of a wide and naturally short nail bed.

Manicure in this technique is very easy to do at home. To begin with, you need to move the cuticle as far as possible – this will be the first step towards a visual lengthening of the nails. Then it remains only to carefully apply the chosen shade of varnish to the nails, leaving a small gap on the sides and near the cuticle. You need to draw the ideal shape over your natural shape.

To do this, it is convenient to use a thin brush, which will help shape the nails into the desired “frame”. If you find it difficult to immediately cover the nails according to the Italian technique, in the end, just gently remove the excess on the sides with a small amount of nail polish remover. Ready!
