Why you shouldn’t wear open shoes for a pedicure – even if it’s hot outside

In summer, a pedicure becomes especially necessary. However, many of us immediately spoil the effect of the procedure, because we come to the salon with open shoes.

Sandals, flip flops, clogs and other types of open shoes are an indispensable part of summer looks. However, if today you have to go to a nail salon for a professional pedicure, it is better to give preference to something more closed. Even if the asphalt melts from the sun on the street…

Of course gel polish and cuticle removal are an important part of a pedicure, but first and foremost we come to the salon for a high quality foot treatment. After polishing, they become very soft and clean – but at the same time they are injured and susceptible to negative environmental factors.

Now imagine that familiar image… You’ve had a fresh pedicure, put on your favorite sandals and… walked along the dusty city streets. Even if the walk takes only 15 minutes, you will return home with your heels darkened with dust – after all, immediately after grinding, the skin is more prone to pollution and inflammation.

Ideally, immediately after a pedicure, clean socks should be put on – we explained why they should be fresh and new in this material. And at home it will not be superfluous to carefully treat the legs with a gentle scrub – and apply a nourishing cream with healing components at night.
