We tell you how to get your nails back to looking healthy after three months of summer testing.
All summer, our nails, like hair and skin, have been subjected to stresses related to the characteristics of the season. Sea water, bleach from the swimming pool and ultraviolet rays, alas, did not alter the condition of the plate as well as possible.
Fall is the time when we can give our nails a long-awaited respite. We recommend starting resuscitation and reinforcing measures with home care. Here are 3 proven product recipes that will quickly transform your hands.
St. John’s wort bath
Pour 1 teaspoon of dried St. John’s wort with a glass of boiling water and let the broth infuse for 15-20 minutes. Then stir in 1 tablespoon of sea salt. Pour the resulting liquid into a bowl and immerse your hands in it for 10-15 minutes. It is recommended to carry out the procedure once a week.
beeswax ointment
Heat 3 tablespoons of olive or peach oil and mix it with a teaspoon of beeswax. Rub the resulting ointment on the nails every evening for 7-10 days.
Glycerin compress
Mix one teaspoon of glycerin, half a teaspoon of burnt alum, and 2 tablespoons of water. Apply the product obtained on cotton pads, place them on your nails and leave to act for 10 to 15 minutes. Do these compresses at least 2 to 3 times a week.
