We give the look magic and mystery with the help of a fashionable arrow without clear boundaries.
Long gone are the days when a clear, thin line was considered the gold standard for an arrow in front of the eyes. Today, fashionable makeup artists are increasingly resorting to the effect of feathering the arrow, thereby achieving a magical look with a seductive veil.
But for many girls, repeating such a soft, fuzzy line at home can be even more difficult than drawing a straight arrow using the same felt-tip pen. In fact, it’s not as scary as you think. Master this simple instruction, with which after a few practices the shading will run like clockwork!
How to draw a feathered arrow:
- apply a matte concealer all over the eyelid, which will serve as a base for future make-up;
- paint the arrow with a brown wax crayon – don’t try to make it perfectly even, in fact, we only need a guide;
- with a small brush, blur the very edge of the pencil, skirting the tip of the arrow;
- take black eyeshadow on the brush and fill in the darkest part of the arrow;
- then take a beige tint on the brush and apply it to the orbital cavity already going to the tip of the arrow;
- choose an intermediate shadow shade – something between black and beige – and blend the arrow itself with it;
- if during the shading process the black tint is dusty, duplicate it again;
- clean the bottom line under the arrowhead with concealer and comb the lashes with mascara – voila!
