The Scandinavian aesthetic is known for its simplicity and attachment to all things natural. A Scandinavian-style manicure meets these requirements, but at the same time it contains a bit of special magic.

However, Scandinavian manicure differs from the usual plain coating. Judging by the work of local nail artists, Scandinavians prefer to complement nude varnish with contrasting dots at the base or center of the nail. This is done very quickly – and the manicure ends up looking much more interesting.
Sometimes, besides dots, Scandinavian manicure contains other minimalist shapes – lines, triangles or squares, not only in black or white, but also in lighter tones.
The design appears to be inspired by Scandinavian runes, an ancient form of writing whose elements are often used in hygge-themed clothing and home decor. Such a polka dot manicure is said to bring good luck. Isn’t that a good reason to try it as soon as possible? 🙂
