The Scandinavian aesthetic is known for its simplicity and attachment to all things natural. A Scandinavian-style manicure meets these requirements, but at the same time it contains a bit of special magic.

What a Scandinavian manicure looks like: a magical option for connoisseurs of beauty minimalism

Scandinavian style has long conquered the world – especially if we talk about it from the point of view of choosing interiors or cabinets. You’ve probably heard of concepts like hygge and lagom. These are the words that most often describe the special comfort of Scandinavian style – with a minimalist basis, warm natural colors and a special approach to choosing details.

When we talk about Scandinavian aesthetics, it would be a great negligence to forget the area of beauty. Scandinavian women are known for their love of all things pure and natural. Therefore, if we talk, for example, about manicure, it should be understood that here it is often performed in nude tones, preferring oval or square nail shapes – without elongation, which is inconvenient in everyone’s life days.

However, Scandinavian manicure differs from the usual plain coating. Judging by the work of local nail artists, Scandinavians prefer to complement nude varnish with contrasting dots at the base or center of the nail. This is done very quickly – and the manicure ends up looking much more interesting.

Sometimes, besides dots, Scandinavian manicure contains other minimalist shapes – lines, triangles or squares, not only in black or white, but also in lighter tones.

The design appears to be inspired by Scandinavian runes, an ancient form of writing whose elements are often used in hygge-themed clothing and home decor. Such a polka dot manicure is said to bring good luck. Isn’t that a good reason to try it as soon as possible? 🙂
