In order to understand the subject of breast augmentation, it is important to know the main concept around which all work is built: the profile of a breast endoprosthesis.

The profile of a breast endoprosthesis is the ratio of the parameters of the implant (width and height), which already form a specific shape. It depends on how much after the operation the bust will protrude forward, how much it will increase and what volume it will eventually turn out to be.

So, for example, round-shaped implants make the breasts lush and “soft”, while teardrop-shaped ones open in the lower pole, which is more reminiscent of the natural structure of the mammary glands.

It is extremely rare. Women always want bigger breasts. But sometimes men turn to plastic surgeons who ask to install such implants so that the chest visually looks more sporty.

It is popular with shy girls with zero breast size. With medium profile implants, the breasts will become larger – but not so much that the changes are immediately obvious to acquaintances. The appearance of the result depends on the profile of the implant. Therefore, the doctor during the consultation before the operation carefully pronounces all the nuances: what effect the patient wants to achieve, how the breast, in her opinion, should take care of the arthroplasty. Then, after having listened to all the wishes, the surgeon gives his recommendations according to the request and the anatomical characteristics of the woman.

Tubular breasts occur when the mammary glands are narrowed at the base and the areola is enlarged. This form is not a pathology, but often does not suit patients purely aesthetically. In the case of breast plumpness, at least a medium profile is defined, but usually women choose a higher option in order to better open the breasts in the lower pole and achieve a beautiful, seductive bust shape.
