SPA-salon at home: 5 expensive procedures that you can do yourself

It’s not so easy for a modern working girl to carve out an hour or two. And while manicures and waxing are a must, there’s almost never time for a variety of salon procedures. And we can only dream of SPA. But there are procedures that do not require any special skills or special equipment. So why not organize a SPA salon at home?

stone therapy

SPA-salon at home: 5 expensive procedures that you can do yourself

A very popular procedure in spas! Admit it, you probably have some pebbles brought back from the resort? Their finest hour has come! For a facial stone massage, you will need two rounded pebbles. Heat one in hot water and chill the other in the freezer. Massage your face and neck along the massage lines, first with a hot stone, then with a cold stone. You will see, the skin after this simple procedure will look like it has been walking along the coast for a week.

chocolate wrap

The chocolate wrapping procedure is offered in almost all SPA salons. Well, if it’s suddenly not there, then there will definitely be something using chocolate, for example, massage or scrub. Why is chocolate so popular? Yes, because it is not only one of the best ways to lift your spirits and get rid of sad thoughts, but also a true friend of those who want to tone their body and get rid of cellulite. Thus, for a chocolate wrap, you need 100 g of natural dark chocolate. Melt it in a water bath (you can add a few drops of olive oil), apply to problem areas, wrap with cling film and leave for 40 minutes. You will look average during the procedure, but believe me, the result is worth it.

clay wrap

This procedure was practiced in ancient Greece. There are many varieties of clay, but we advise you to choose black clay, it improves lymphatic flow and helps fight cellulite. Take a hot shower and massage the clay into problem areas of the body. Now tightly, but without pinching, wrap the stained areas with plastic wrap in 3-4 layers. To enhance the effect, wrap yourself in a warm blanket – you get a hot wrap procedure. After 30 minutes, take a warm shower and enjoy velvety skin.

Cleopatra bath

You must have heard of the mythical Cleopatra bath, after which the skin becomes like that of a baby? To prepare it, you will need 1.5 liters of fat (from 3.5%) cow’s milk and half an hour of free time. Pour a bath of warm water (36-37 degrees), add warm milk to it and lie in it for 20-30 minutes. You will see, the skin after such a bath will be no worse than after an expensive SPA procedure.

Sea salt bath

When it’s cold and wet outside and you can only dream of a trip to the sea, organize a spa at home, buying ordinary sea salt at the nearest pharmacy. For a cosmetic effect, it is enough to add 100-300 g of salt to the water. If you want to improve the body, do not save money – pour 500-800 g of salt in warm water (you can use Dead Sea salts). Such a bath perfectly relieves puffiness, improves immunity and restores strength.
