Fruits are natural aids in the process of losing weight, maintaining youth and health. However, some of them are less useful than others. And they are not even recommended for food after 45!

Beauty experts constantly recommend eating fruits, as they are rich in vitamins that have a beneficial effect on beauty. Thus, citrus fruits are loaded with antioxidant vitamin C and eliminate dryness and dullness of the skin, while peaches, bananas and grapes help to compensate for the lack of B vitamins – which speed up regeneration processes and slow down the aging.

However, not all fruits have an unconditional positive effect on the skin. Thus, scientists have found that women should not get involved with mangoes.

Mango is rich in beta-carotene, a derivative of vitamin A. It is an important component in reducing inflammation and supporting the production of “rejuvenating” collagen in the body. However, experts have found that women at the age of menopause can notice an acceleration in the development of wrinkles just against the background of the consumption of mangoes.

But all is not so simple. Surprisingly, the results of the study showed that if women eat around 100 grams of mango 3-4 times a week, they notice an improvement in their skin condition. But if you increase the dose to 250 grams of fruit, everything changes dramatically.

Experts don’t know exactly what makes mango a product that accelerates skin aging. It’s probably because of the high amount of sugar in the fruit. Alas, in large quantities, even natural sugar adversely affects the condition of the face.
