Anderson Clayton, Palmirinha’s faithful companion on television, was moved to remember his colleague when he woke up

Anderson Clayton, known for being the interpreter of the Guinho doll, Palmirinha’s faithful companion on television, was moved when he remembered his colleague at his vigil, this Monday morning, 8, in São Paulo. Palmira Nery da Silva Onofre, died this Sunday morning, aged 7, at the age of 91, due to worsening chronic kidney problems.

“We were following this moment of pain, but Palmirinha was very strong. So we always knew she was going home. Because she hadn’t been in and out of the hospital for three years. But we knew she was this fortress, you know? This strong woman.” , he said, in an interview with Earth.

According to Anderson, he followed his colleague’s last moments closely. “I said, if I’ve worked these twenty-five years [com ela]the least I can do is [dedicar] my time and attention. She is a piece of me.”

According to him, in addition to working together, the two became great friends in the years they were together on television.

“I looked into her eyes, we knew what was going on. We had a very strong connection. Because doing television, doing media is very difficult. Because you suffer sometimes and she was a lady. Imagine, I said like ‘she’s my grandmother, brother “, I fight tooth and nail [por ela]”said Anderson, very excited.

Then he added: “In recent years, after she stopped making TV, I kept silent precisely to preserve her. And out of respect. Sure, every love relationship has pain. respect for our history. So I’m here today to honor this love story, that love that wins, the life, the work, the dignity of this woman who I will remember until my last breath”.

Anderson also pointed out that Palmirinha always remained strong and cheerful even when she was in the hospital. She “she didn’t stop fighting, she was only resting yesterday, then she stopped breathing. Her departure was very beautiful, very emotional, serene. She was already resting, she did everything that she could.”

According to him, he now intends to keep the legacy of everything he learned from Palmirinha, who he claims is “his grandmother at heart”. “I made a recipe book for children, with the recipes that I learned from her and that I will bequeath. I don’t want to think too much about the future because I am in a lot of pain, but oh well I can do to honor this story that I intend to do, honor for always Palmirinha”, he concluded.
