The wear and tear, the constant obsessive attention from fans and paparazzi, the need to always look good and hold your own – that’s what celebrity life is like. You can only partly save yourself on vacation, but, alas, for some stars it turned out to be the last.

Sergei Suponev

Sergei Suponev, who invented the “Starry Hour” and “Call of the Jungle” programs, died in 2001 while relaxing in the country. The 38-year-old TV presenter crashed into a snowmobile while riding on the ice of the Volga in the village of Edimonovo. Sergei lost control and crashed into a river jetty at full speed.

Gaspard ulliel

The 37-year-old French actor died in the ski resort of La Rosière in the Alps. Gaspard was going to go down the highway and on the way turn to another, where his friends were waiting for him. Alas, while turning the actor collided with another skier. The actor was without a helmet and lost consciousness immediately after the collision. The second skier was not injured and immediately called for help, Ulliel was taken to a helicopter and transported to Grenoble hospital in intensive care, but, alas, the doctors could not save him. The following day, January 19, 2022, the actor died.

Veronika Nikonova

Actress Veronika Nikonova, who starred in the military drama “Brest Fortress”, died in Alaska while crossing the Teklanika River. The girl was 24 years old. Veronica and her husband Peter went on their honeymoon, where he spent the last months of his life and where the girl’s idol, extreme athlete Christopher McCandless, died. On the way back, crossing the Teklanika River, the girl could not hold on to the tightrope, tripped and fell. The wet backpack dragged her underwater. The husband managed to get Veronica out of the water, and during the class he did heart massage and artificial respiration. Alas, that didn’t help.

Natalia Bogunova

One of the most beautiful actresses of Soviet cinema managed to star in 15 films, but only one role brought her the love and popularity of the whole Union – Svetlana Afanasyevna in The Big Break. But after the directors suddenly stopped offering her big roles. It turned out that it was the illness of the actress: Natalia suffered from schizophrenia. In 2011, the actress stayed in a psychiatric clinic for a long time. After treatment, a stable remission came, and Natalia planned to organize a tour in Russia in order to read poetry on stage and, in general, return to normal life. But first I went to rest on the island of Crete. Unfortunately, during the rest, Natalia had another attack, the hotel staff called the police and the doctors, who had to forcibly hospitalize Bogunova in the clinic. She died there of a myocardial infarction.

Natasha Richardson

American actress Natasha Richardson, daughter of legendary Vanessa Redgrave and director Tony Richardson, wife of actor Liam Neeson and mother of two sons, died at Mont Tremblant ski resort in Quebec. The actress, riding without a helmet, fell on one of the descents, but did not attach any importance to the injury and refused help from the doctors. However, an hour later, she suffered a severe headache and was hospitalized. When Liam arrived at the hospital after filming, his wife was already in a coma. Two days later, the family made the decision to remove her from life support. Natasha was 45 years old.

Nathalie Bois

The actress’ body was found off the Catalina Islands on November 29, 1981, after she apparently slipped from her yacht and then drowned in the water while vacationing with husband Robert Wagner and co -Brainstorm star Christopher Walken. But reports that the 43-year-old Rebel Without a Cause actress argued with Wagner and flirted with Walken have raised questions about the nature of her death. In November 2011, police reopened the case, and following further investigation Wood’s cause of death was changed from accidental drowning to “drowning and other undetermined factors”.
