Kristina Babushkina has been acting in films for over 20 years. There are many roles in her filmography, but the role of the general’s wife in “Unprincipled” brought her special popularity. But few people remember the actress’s first screen appearance – it’s time to refresh your memory.
Christina’s journey to becoming an artist has not been easy: she has had to overcome obstacles and fly by the side of the road. And that’s not even a metaphor. Babushkina’s career was already at stake, and the reason for this was again trouble on the road – such an evil fate.
In her native Irkutsk, Christina entered the theater school, but in the second year she was expelled for incompetence! The student had a serious accident, spent two years in a hospital bed.
“The question was to change jobs. I was assured that I had to choose an easier job, unrelated to physical activity, ”recalls the actress in an interview.
Despite the “verdict” of doctors and teachers, she did not want to give up and went to Moscow to enter the capital’s theater universities. And she went to the Moscow Art Theater School for the course of Oleg Tabakov.

Babushkina began filming in 2001. The first work in her filmography was a small role in the TV series “Truckers”, which was popular at that time.
