Cannes Film Festival 2024: find out which films are nominated for the Palme d’Or

OR Cannes Film Festival it starts next Tuesday (14th) and we’ll tell you everything that will happen at the awards ceremony. The event is known for the Palme d’Or trophy, one of the most prestigious in the film industry. In fact, it is worth underlining that the award jury is made up of numerous industry professionals from different countries.

This year Cannes will take place from 14 to 25 May. However, the event will not be broadcast to the public, without any type of live television.

For this year’s edition, the jury has selected 19 feature films that will compete for the Palme d’Or. Among the main highlights we have “Types of Kindness”by Yorgos Lanthimos — director of “Poor Creatures”, “Megalopolis“, considered the life work of Francis Ford Coppola, and “Destination motel“, Brazilian film starring Fábio Assunção.
