Singer Paloma Santos, better known as MC Loma, 21, said on her Instagram profile that she was mistaken for a ‘pickpocket’ during her trip through Europe. The term is used by foreigners for people who steal.

“When I pass, people are already packing their bags, making themselves comfortable, thinking I’m a pickpocket,” MC Loma complained in stories.

According to the singer, she believes this happened because of her clothes. “Because they are like that, everywhere,” she said. “I am discriminated against because of my clothes […] What a world we live in.”

“Everywhere I go, people hide their bags and give me dirty looks,” he noted in the video’s caption.

MC Loma also claimed that Mariely Santos, who was traveling with her and was dressed as a “preppy girl,” did not experience this discrimination.
