Neyma Jr. held the event this Monday 3 in Sao Paulo
The event promoted by Neymar Jr. it raised R$21 million, more than double last year, when it raised R$9 million. The 32-year-old Brazilian footballer will donate the same amount, from his own pocket, to Rio Grande do Sul, which has been hit by floods since last month.
The information was confirmed by event consultants exclusively to gshow. “Neymar Jr. agreed to make a donation of the same amount raised to RS, but from his own pocket.”
In 2023, the auction raised around R$9 million. In 2018 and 2017 the values did not exceed R$4 million. According to the institute, the amount will be allocated to the association’s socio-educational activities.
“A huge thank you to everyone who made this evening possible. Presenters, partners, guests and team, thank you so much! We ended the evening with a total of R$21 million raised, breaking another record at the Neymar Jr Institute auction. And it’s all for our kids!”we read in the note.
