Death at the Peak: Four Models Whose Dreams Were Tragically Cut Short

The recent death of Yasmin Domminguez, 19, from an unknown cause, has caused a stir on social media. It was a gamble for the agency 40 degrees. She had already posed for the lens of the famous photographer Fernando Torquatto.

Diniz and the pilot managed to swim to the beach. Fernanda, 20, was found a week later. With a busy schedule, the model launched new campaigns. Her burial in Rio was attended by several fashion personalities.

Adriana de Oliveira was one of the most successful models in the late 80s. Her blue eyes on her delicate face were impressive in photos and videos.

She won the Brazilian leg of ‘Supermodel of the World’, held on the stage of the Gugu program on SBT, and was a finalist in the global competition in the United States.

The “Cinderella of Santo André”, nicknamed in reference to the city of ABC São Paulo where she was born, had several commitments with magazines and brands when a tragedy occurred.

On January 27, 1990, she had convulsions in a farm in the interior of Minas Gerais, where she was resting with her boyfriend and some friends. Taken to the hospital, she died at the age of 20.

According to an article published a few days later in ‘Veja’, the cause was a “drug cocktail found in the body”. The press used the strong example of Adriana de Oliveira to discuss the use of narcotics among young people.
