Remember the love story of Kate Middleton and Prince William

A true fairy tale! Prince William and Kate Middleton met while at college in Scotland in 2001 and have been together ever since. How about remembering the history of the future kings of England?

At the turn of the century, at the University of St. Andrews, William studied Geography, while his friend Kate Middleton studied History of Art. A year later, the two moved in with friends and began having a relationship.

The relationship only became public in 2004, when they were spotted together on a trip. And, of course, the local press hasn’t left the couple out of the spotlight. Anyone who thinks that the couple’s relationship has always been perfect is wrong. They took a short break in 2007, but got back together two months later.

Prince William proposed to Kate Middleton in 2010 during a trip to Kenya. In fact, for the occasion the heir wore her mother’s engagement ring, Princess Diana. They married in 2011 in Westminster Abbey, with a ceremony broadcast worldwide. Later becoming Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

After the wedding the family grew with the arrival of George, Charlotte and Louis. With the death of Queen Elizabeth II in 2022, however, they became considered Prince and Princess of Wales. The next step now is to ascend the throne of England.
