Who is Maguila’s wife? Discover the love story of the Brazilian boxing star

He was diagnosed with the disease in 2013. Married to Irani Pinheirohe led a completely anonymous life as his clinical condition worsened.

It was Irani who confirmed her husband’s death in the early afternoon, when General balance (Documentation). She and Maguila had been together for 40 years.

They met at a street market, when the boxer immediately offered some pastries to the young woman, then 17 years old, at the Ponte Rasa fair in Sao Paulo. From there the love story began.

At the time, Irani worked as a typing teacher and was not easily carried away by the fighter’s interest. The two began dating shortly after and the romance became the subject of criticism, with speculation that the girl was selfish.

Despite the attacks, the boxer’s wife did not get carried away and remained by his side until the end of his life. In addition to caring for her husband, she was also responsible for the Adilson Maguila Institute.

Additionally, Irani took care of updating Maguila’s Instagram account, showing a bit of his routine. The profile, followed by more than 100,000 people, has almost no trace of her and features photos of Maguila’s home.
