Singer Rita Ora and director Taika Waititi got married in an intimate ceremony in London, according to the British newspaper The Sun.
“It was a very intimate and super special ceremony for everyone in attendance,” a source told the outlet. “Her closest and dearest friends and relatives could see how madly in love they are.”
The source added that the singer wanted a small wedding to “keep their relationship as private as possible”. But the couple are still throwing a big party to celebrate their union.
Rumors about the wedding started over the weekend when photos of Taika wearing a wedding band surfaced. Now, Rita has shown another gold ring on her finger.
Unofficial news even indicates that she changed her surname and became Rita Waititi-Ora.
The “Thor: Love and Thunder” director and singer went public with their relationship a year ago, in August 2021, and got engaged just two months ago.
Waititi was previously married to producer Chelsea Winstanley, with whom he has two daughters: Te Hinekahu, 10, and Matewa Kiritapu, 6.
Although the marriage has occupied all British newspapers and celebrity websites around the world, the couple’s representatives have not yet come forward, either to deny or confirm the news.
