Originally launched in 1988, everything is worth consolidating as one of the most surprising soap opera in the history of Brazilian television. Shown on TV Globo, the plot reached the peaks of the historical public, especially during the episode of the murder of Odete Roitman, who stopped the country on Christmas Eve with 81 points on Ibope.

Currently, the station works in the remake of the soap opera and the suspense around the fate of the character returns to mobilize the public. With a new approach and a reformulated cast, the reprint of the work promises to reveal the mystery of the murder of Odete unprecedentedly. Interpreted by Debora Bloch in this new version, the character will continue to play a central role in history.

Although the plot of the soap opera retains the classic elements of the original plot, the manager of the adaptation text, Manuela Dias, revealed that the result will be different from that shown 37 years ago. In 1988, Leila, lived by Cássia Kis, was revealed as the author of the crime. However, the new version will follow a distinct path.

During an interview with the podcast the topic, presented by Natuza Nee, Manuela shared the details on the creation process and stressed that the killer will be a male character.

“I have a murderer. I discovered it by chance, but I don’t know yet, I have to continue following the clues to see if the suspicion really falls on the right character,” said the author, without revealing names.

This type of narrative construction, with progressive mystery and clues published in all chapters, was one of the brands of the original success. By adopting this format once again, the creative team bets on the loyalty of the older spectators and, equally, on the curiosity of a new generation.

In fact, this reprint of the plot is part of a wider movement in the station, which has taken up the classic soap opera with contemporary reinterpretation. Therefore, in addition to honoring consecrated authors such as Gilberto Braga, he also tries to update themes and conflicts to reflect the current dilemmas of society.

Finally, with the growing expectations around those who will be responsible for the new death of Odete Roitman, the soap opera promises to repeat the impact of the past. The next few weeks will be decisive to define the direction of the plot and further feed the speculation of the fans of the Brazilian television drama.
