The actor and singer Thiago Martins, currently broadcast as Vasco in the remake of “Vale Tudo”, revealed on Thursday (7 August) who faced serious health problems last month. Throughout July, pulmonary histoplasmosis and inflammation of the right knee was diagnosed with the conditions that led him to hospital after years without hospitalizations.
According to Martins, the symptoms included intense pain, sleepless nights and frequent use of medicines. The exams showed knee swelling without signs of thrombosis and inflammation in the left lung probably linked to mushroom infection. As explained, one of the effects of the disease can reach the joints, which would have aggravated the problem of the knee.
The treatment included medicines, physiotherapy and follow -up -Up constant doctor. Last Monday (August 4), after 21 days of follow-up, he suffered a new evaluation and he was allowed to resume light physical activities, although he is not yet able to run because of the knee. The actor also said that he is avoiding alcohol consumption during the recovery process.
In his publications, Martins stressed that he prefers to face the period as a moment of learning. For him, the experience served to strengthen the importance of taking care of health and evaluating people present in difficult times.
“July went away and I could say that it was a difficult month for me, but I prefer to say that it was a different month full of learning! July brought me to the hospital after so many years without going. A lot of pain, sleepless nights, many medicines,” he wrote.
He also strengthened the importance of the support received. “We are a grain of sand in this world! Value who is at your side at all times, especially in evil, for good, is easy, with rest value, enhances the day. I start this stronger month, taking care even more, more concentrated and understanding that the real remain”.
In a relaxed tone, Martins even played with health professionals, asking for the state of his heart, who was evaluated as “great” and “Grado 10”. Information on the current recovery phase, the artist said he was optimistic: “They are 90%, but the goal is to reach 100% and soon! Being the son they are, it is difficult to break down”.
In the end, the actor thanked the messages, prayers and demonstrations of affection received and said he was still stopped in treatments, with the aim of reaching full recovery in the next few days.
