Sierra Cannon, a 26-year-old American influencer, showed on her social media the process of getting her first tattoo: freckles on her face. The video was published on TikTok, where it has around 647 thousand followers.

“As far as the sensation, it felt like my cat was licking my face,” Sierra said in the video showing the procedure.

The reaction of followers, however, was mixed. One netizen commented: “Darling, you have a beautiful face and skin, enjoy it, but don’t do more when it disappears.” Another wrote: “I used to get bullied for having freckles, and now people get tattoos.”

Days later, Sierra posted an update showing that, after seven days, the freckles were softer and more natural-looking. He also took the opportunity to respond to criticism:

“It’s officially been a week since I ‘ruined’ my face with freckle tattoos, apparently. You guys have every right to your opinions, but guess what? It’s my face,” the influencer said.

The influencer explained that complete healing takes four to six weeks, but said she was satisfied with the result obtained so far: “I’m completely obsessed.”

Although she didn’t reveal the cost in the video, Sierra told People magazine that the procedure cost between $185 and $350 (the equivalent of about R$990-1,800).
