In the midst of the elections, audiences in Brazilian cinemas dropped by half compared to the previous week. In all, 769,000 tickets were sold for a collection of R $ 15.91 million.
“Black Adam” topped the box office for the second consecutive week, with BRL 11.34 million grossed and viewed by 571,000 viewers between Thursday and Sunday (30/10), according to data from consultancy Comscore.
2nd place was a surprise: it went to the live broadcast of the Coldplay concert in Buenos Aires. The band, which recently postponed its tour in Brazil, brought more than 31,000 people to the cinema, generating R $ 1.33 million at the box office.
The horror premiere “Invitation Maldito” completed the podium with just over R $ 1 million, followed by 54,000 people.
