Charlotte Freud, the music producer granddaughter of billionaire Rupert Murdoch, is dating New York actor Frederick Mariano after splitting from actor Isaak Presley.
The 25-year-old music producer, who performs under the stage name Tiarlie, met the 31-year-old model and actor earlier this summer. The couple recently shared photos from a romantic holiday getaway in Italy.
A source close to the couple told the Daily Mail that they met earlier this summer, so it is early days but it is going very well. The source added that they are very loved up, seem like a perfect match, and that maybe this guy could be the one.
During their trip to Italy, the couple posted intimate glimpses of their holiday on Instagram. In one photograph, Freud wore a black long-sleeved, high-cut swimsuit while leaning over the side of a private boat to kiss a shirtless Mariano in the water.
Other images shared from the boat trip showed the couple entwined on deck while displaying their tattooed arms. A black-and-white photograph highlighted Mariano's extensive collection of hand and finger ink as the couple held hands.
New York Romance and Acting Credits
Mariano, who stands at 6ft 4in and is based in New York, works as both a model and an independent film actor. His screen credits include the 2021 short film Letters from the War and the mafia comedy Shy Guys: a Mafia Comedy, released last year.
Freud was born in London and works as a music producer. She is the daughter of media executive Elisabeth Murdoch and public relations mogul Matthew Freud, placing her at the centre of two celebrated British and global dynasties.
Her maternal grandfather is billionaire media executive Rupert Murdoch, who is now 95. On her father's side, Freud is the great-granddaughter of psychoanalysis pioneer Sigmund Freud and the great-niece of the late artist Lucian Freud. Her brother, Jonah Freud, is currently dating singer Lily Allen.
The Murdoch family dynamics famously served as the inspiration for the hit HBO drama series Succession. Freud has previously given her seal of approval to the show, declaring it was totally accurate that the series was based on her family and saying of her mother that her mum is very Shiv.
Split from Netflix Star Isaak Presley
The new relationship comes following Freud's split from 24-year-old Hollywood actor Isaak Presley. Presley played Bobby Popko in the Netflix series Fuller House and starred as Ethan Diaz alongside Jenna Ortega in the Disney Channel series Stuck in the Middle.
Freud and Presley made their relationship public in March 2025 through a goth-cowboy themed photoshoot posted on social media. The couple quickly moved in together in Los Angeles, but quietly separated in October last year.
A source close to Freud stated at the time that the decision to split was mutual. Freud has since relocated from Los Angeles to New York.
Past Marriage and Sobriety Journey
Prior to her relationship with Presley, Freud was married to British rapper and artist Luke Storey, 40. The pair met when Freud was 18 years old and working at Laylow, a private members' club in west London where Storey was working as a DJ.
Both Freud and Storey had struggled with addiction, and Freud later credited falling in love with Storey with helping put her on the road to sobriety. She described their initial mutual attraction as an immediate obsession.
The couple married in July 2022 at St Mary's Church in the Cotswolds village of Westwell in front of around 70 guests. High-profile attendees included television presenter Claudia Winkleman and Hollywood actor Woody Harrelson, while her grandfather Rupert Murdoch arrived at the lavish society wedding by helicopter.
Honeymoon Breakdown and Early Life
Despite the glamorous nuptials, the relationship unravelled spectacularly just hours later. Freud revealed that Storey relapsed as they set off on their honeymoon, explaining that they had been married for 12 hours when their whole world collapsed.
Freud subsequently described the marriage as a s***show, explaining that their relationship worked when they were both sober but struggled when their recovery faltered. Their divorce was finalised just 14 months after they said I do.
Freud has also spoken candidly about her wayward adolescence, revealing that she partied heavily between the ages of 15 and 19 before eventually quitting drugs. She previously described herself as the family's trouble child, saying she rebelled partly because of the expectations that came with her famous surname.
