Dasha Kvitkova, a Ukrainian blogger and winner of the ninth season of the reality show "Bachelor," who recently got married, has admitted she is going through a difficult period in her life.
In Instagram stories, Kvitkova said she used to believe in enduring everything and staying unbreakable, but that this approach only led her to emotional breakdowns. She said she has come to understand that real strength lies in honestly admitting to yourself when you cannot cope, while still getting up each day regardless.
Theft, workplace chaos and lies
Kvitkova said the past month has been an emotional mess that she is struggling to handle. She said she is dealing with stolen money, complete chaos at work that she and colleagues are trying to resolve, and years of lying behind her back. She said she still blames herself somewhat for trusting too much, and that she is currently feeling anger, indignation and tears, with acceptance not yet reached.
She said it feels like the ground was pulled from under her, but that she is confident things will work out, and is even grateful the truth came out, however it happened.
Blast damage at her apartment
Kvitkova also said that while she and her son were away from home, a Russian attack's shockwave blew out the doors of her apartment. She said this is minor compared to everything else and can be fixed, but that it remains frightening.
