Spanish pop singer David Bisbal will release his new studio album Eternos on Friday, October 2, 2026, following a calculated social media campaign.
The launch represents what the singer describes as a key milestone in his discography, coming after 25 years in the music industry. Spanish radio station Cadena 100, which listened to the complete album prior to its release, reported that the project satisfied and exceeded expectations.
Cover single and album announcement
Bisbal, a native of Almeria in southern Spain, began laying the groundwork for the album in late March. He performed an exclusive cover of the song Vivir asi es morir de amor live on stage at the La Noche de Cadena 100 concert. Weeks later, he released the official music video, featuring studio arrangements designed to give the track a strong production backing.
On May 7, the singer revealed the title and cover art for Eternos across his social media channels. In his post, he stated that he could finally reveal the cover of his new studio album and described it as a very special project that would see the light on October 2.
Production details and special boxed edition
In addition to publishing concert posters for an upcoming tour that begins in Latin America before heading to Spain in the spring, Bisbal shared technical explanations and sound engineering details with his followers. He spent several months studying every technical detail of the recording process before finalizing the album sound.
Bisbal also published an unboxing video showing the physical box set edition of Eternos. The special release includes an hourglass, which Bisbal selected as a symbol of the passage of time and how certain songs become eternal over time.
Media presentation at Ateneo de Madrid
Ahead of the release, Bisbal hosted a media presentation at the historic Ateneo de Madrid venue on Wednesday, accompanied by family members and friends.
Following the presentation, the singer posted a collection of photos thanking attendees and confirming his departure for Latin America to launch the project. He wrote that a new phase was beginning, adding that Eternos was getting closer and that he was setting course across the ocean to begin his tour.
