Caine Standalone Film
Introduced in John Wick 4 as a blind assassin connected to the High Table, Caine was regarded as the standout addition to the cast. Donnie Yen will now direct and star in a new project focused on the character.
Information about the upcoming Caine movie remains limited, but Keanu Reeves is unlikely to reprise his role as John Wick. If Reeves does not make a cameo appearance or participate in the story, Caine will be the first movie in the franchise where the main protagonist is entirely absent.
A central topic the standalone movie could address is how Caine lost his sight, a question left unresolved in John Wick 4.
