Actress Emily Atack burst into tears at the altar during her Spanish wedding to Alistair Garner earlier this month, unseen pictures have revealed.
Television presenter Laura Whitmore shared a candid photograph on Instagram showing Atack wiping away tears as she stood ready to take her vows in Spain.
The couple tied the knot for the second time in the courtyard of a 16th-century church located in the whitewashed hilltop town of Mojacar in Almeria, standing before 197 friends and family.
Award-winning British comedian and folk musician David Eagle acted as registrar for the ceremony. Eagle has previously written stand-up material performed on The Emily Atack Show for ITV2.

Whitmore captured the emotional ceremony and the fun-filled night that followed as the romantic nuptials turned into a party.
Among the photos shared by Whitmore was a behind-the-scenes snap showing Atack having her makeup topped up before taking her vows.
The Rivals star and her husband selected the 16th-century church courtyard in Mojacar as the setting for their second ceremony earlier this month.
Whitmore captioned her photo upload with the words, "Emily got married," as the celebrity friends posed together alongside comedian Katherine Ryan and Rivals actress Victoria Smurfit.
Things looked to be getting rowdy as the group posed together for a fun photo during the evening celebrations.
Whitmore's husband, Scottish comedian and Love Island narrator Iain Stirling, held up two espresso martinis as the party got under way.
The couple also posed for a sweet selfie as Stirling shaded his wife from the Spanish sun with a parasol.
Celebrations in Mojacar
After saying their vows, the newly married couple walked through a shower of rose petals before leading a champagne toast and mingling with their guests.
The congregation then moved down the church steps to enjoy a three-course meal, which featured starter options of cod risotto or mandarin sorbet.
Guests drank champagne out of coupe glasses before partying into the night. Atack and Garner were pictured pouring bottles of champagne over a tower of glasses.
Atack later changed into a white party dress with a feathered skirt after the romantic ceremony.
Star-studded guest list
Atack and scientist Garner have known each other since childhood, after Garner's late father, Stephen, married Atack's aunt, Jane Garner, in the early 1990s.
The cast of Disney+ drama Rivals proved they could party just as hard as their raucous on-screen characters. Stars David Tennant, Alex Hassell, Rufus Jones, Bella Maclean, and Victoria Smurfit were pictured dancing the night away.
Also in attendance was executive producer Felicity Blunt, who was joined by her actor husband Stanley Tucci, who could not keep his hands off his wife throughout the evening.
Notable absences from the Disney+ cast included Aidan Turner and Danny Dyer. The absence comes after it was revealed that Atack's ITV game show with Dyer, titled Nobody's Fool, has been dropped after one season.
Former castmates from The Inbetweeners franchise were also not in attendance. Last week it was announced that the comedy would return for a third film, though it remains unclear whether Atack will reprise her role as Charlotte Hinchcliffe, through which she found fame.
Childhood connection and Cornish honeymoon
Whitmore also made sure to soak up some sun during the wedding trip, slipping into a black swimsuit for a dip in the sea.
After a few weeks of wedding celebrations, Atack enjoyed a restful, low-key honeymoon with Garner and their two-year-old son, Barney.
After saying "I do" in front of 197 friends and family, the newlyweds jetted back from Spain to enjoy the start of their married lives in Port Isaac, a small fishing village in Cornwall.
Documenting the honeymoon in an Instagram post on Friday, Atack shared several snaps of herself resting in their rented cottage as well as enjoying the sights of the town with Garner and Barney.
She captioned the post: "Our restful honeymoon in pretty Port Isaac. Found a gorgeous little cottage that Al couldn’t fully stand up in without whacking his head, played Scrabble, cooked, watched Disney films with Barney and generally behaved like a couple who’d been married for about 40 years ✨."
