Backstreet frontman Nick Carter has been accused of rape again. The court was re-sued by former Dream band member Melissa Schumann, who said she had an affair with Carter against her will in 2003. Legal documents came into the possession of TMZ journalists.
The statement says that the artist forced Schumann to have sex. Melissa also admitted that it was her first sexual experience, despite the fact that she wanted to keep her virginity until the wedding. It is noted that the singer filed the first lawsuit more than 5 years ago. Then the prosecutor’s office refused to initiate a criminal case, since the statute of limitations had expired. Filing a new lawsuit, the girl referred to a new bill passed in California, which abolishes the statute of limitations for civil suits of this kind.

Recall that in February of this year, Carter filed a counterclaim against Melissa Schumann and a certain Shannon Ruth. The musician claims that he himself became a victim of extortion and slander on their part. Carter says that the women were involved in a “five-year conspiracy” and were going to tarnish his reputation for the purpose of extortion. Nick believes that Schuman, along with his father Jerome Schuman, set the “vulnerable and highly impressionable” Ruth against him a few years ago.
In 2021, Nick Carter became a father for the third time. The artist admitted that the birth of his wife was not easy. The artist has been married to actress and fitness expert Lauren Kitt since 2014. In April 2016, their son Odin Rain was born, and in October 2019 — daughter Saoirse.
