The singer interrupted a show inside São Paulo last Friday after a spike in pressure
Sidney Magal remains hospitalized in Hospital do Coração (Hcor), in southern São Paulo, with stable conditions, according to a medical bulletin released this Sunday 28. The 72-year-old singer was hospitalized after feeling ill while performing in San José dos Campos, within the state.
Also according to the hospital, Magal is in “good clinical condition, stable and conscious, and is still under medical care and under observation”. There is no forecast for hospital discharge so far.
The presentation at the Sesi of São José dos Campos, last Thursday evening, 25, had to be interrupted after about 50 minutes from the beginning, when the artist started to feel bad. She had a blood pressure spike while singing.
Videos recorded by fans who watched the show show Magal walking with difficulty. She then trips and sits on a bench to support herself. An ambulance is immediately called to provide medical assistance to the singer.
A few minutes later, the artist returns to the stage and interacts with the audience. “Everything is fine, including my blood. I’ll show you that my blood is boiling for you,” she joked, referencing one of her biggest musical hits.

Sidney Magal used the Instagram Friday 26, to thank the fans for their support and communicate that he was fine, through a video. “I’m here to reassure you that what happened yesterday at the show, here in São José dos Campos, I had extremely high blood pressure, a blood pressure spike. I’ve had high blood pressure for a long time, I’ve been worried and thought that I should have rushed to the hospital,” he said, adding that doctors had advised him to remain under observation.
