Three years and six months after his death, Humberto Zurita revealed the illness that claimed the life of his wife of 34 years.
“People know he got cancer”the actor confessed in an interview with presenter Anette Cuburu for his YouTube channel ‘Anetteando’.
However, the 68-year-old actor withheld the details of the illness to fulfill Christian Bach’s wish.
” What was her process and all that remains with herThat’s how he wanted it. It’s something we owe him, it’s not like we want to have a secret,” he said of why he and his children won’t talk.
“I don’t like to make a show about my life, or my children or anyone else, but it’s respect for my wife and out of respect for her we’re keeping it,” he added in the interview without giving further details.
Speculations about the health of Christian Bach
In 2014, the Argentine recorded her last soap opera, “La Impostora”, and then disappeared from public life, which is why rumors began to circulate that she was suffering from a degenerative or incurable disease.
It was speculated that she had multiple sclerosis or cancer, it was even said that she was bedridden because she probably didn’t have much mobility in her arms and other parts of her body.
In 2017, Humberto and Christian changed residence, moved from Miami to Los Angeles, where their children lived, which raised suspicions that it was for the health of the actress.
