The actress shows her creations with seeds, flowers, leaves and other elements collected during walks around the city in the São Paulo gallery
On Thursday afternoon (4), Regina Duarte inaugurated the exhibition “New Faces of Nature” at the Roberto Camasmie Art Gallery, in Jardins, south of São Paulo.
Present at the event were the actor and comedian Moacyr Franco, the actress Mylla Christie and the writer César Romão, as well as dozens of fans of the veteran soap opera, now dedicated to the visual arts.
Fellow artist Cíntia Abravanel, Silvio Santos’ eldest daughter, brought a vase of flowers as a gift. A crew from the ‘TV Fama’ program on RedeTV! recorded the opening ceremony.
Regina Duarte’s creations started to go viral after the backlash of photos of her picking up cardboard boxes on the streets of São Paulo to use as the basis for her canvases.
He takes advantage of city trips to collect flowers, leaves, seeds, tree bark and other organic materials used in his collages. In the new phase, he gives priority to the composition of human figures.
