Seven years after Hiromi’s death, her widow is grieving again and took to social media death of a loved one.
Fernando Santana revealed on his official Instagram account that Marla Hiromi Hayakawa’s father passed away on April 16 and he said goodbye to his father-in-law with a touching message.

The singer explained that Don Alfonso Javier Hayakawa Miyamoto was a “great man” and mentioned that his consolation is that “he is already with Hiro” and his granddaughter Julieta.

In September 2017, eight months after marrying Fernando Santana, Hiromi Hayakawa was enjoying her first pregnancy and suddenly developed complications, which took her to the hospital.
The singer, then 34 years old, felt severe pains in her abdomen and after receiving medical help, He suffered a series of cardiac arrests and developed HELLP syndrome.
According to the Mayo Clinic, HELLP syndrome is a severe form of preeclampsia, which means elevated liver enzymes and a low platelet count. The condition causes nausea, vomiting, headache, abdominal pain, high blood pressure and in more severe cases, it can put the life of the mother and baby at risk.
Hiromi could not be saved and on September 27, 2017, she died hours after her daughter, whom she named Juliet, died before she was born.
