The actress Giullia Buscacio, 28 years old, known for playing sweet and feminine roles, such as Isabel Abílio de Lemos in We were six years old (Globo) — is about to show a very different side of himself. It will debut soon The owners of the game (Netflix), a series that delves into the universe of crime and corruption. Giullia plays Susana, a strong and seductive woman who has a romantic relationship with Búfalo, the character of singer and actor Xamã, 35 years old.

Created by Heitor Dhalia, Bernardo Barreto and Bruno Passeri, the plot follows Profeta (André Lamoglia), an ambitious young man who wants to grow up in the empire of petty crime. Over the course of the episodes, audiences will see twists and turns, unlikely alliances, moral dilemmas and intense relationships. For Giulia Buscacio the project represents a fundamental turning point in her career.

“The series has crime as its backdrop and my character is different from anything I’ve ever done. I’m paired with the Shaman and I have a great partner. We built this couple very carefully: a couple that is borogodó, is sexy and does everything to achieve their goals. Let’s say I’m dealing with a very ambitious character,” he said Earth.

Regarding the hottest scenes of the series, Giulia explained that the work is surrounded by preparation and respect. According to her, Netflix hired a professional to coordinate each sequence.

“Today we have a trainer for the intimate scenes. We have had several meetings and conversations about this. It’s a whole ballet that is done. People think that it’s all very intuitive, that we get there and do what we want, but no: it’s all very well rehearsed. There has to be collaboration and friendship between the actors so that both feel comfortable and respected to produce a great scene.”

“Without clothes and without vanity”

Giulia also revealed that she discovered a more sensual and daring side while recording The owners of the game (Netflix). According to her, her television career has helped her mature and encouraged her to explore new facets as an actress and as a woman. “I think it’s part of my maturation as an actress and as a person. At first I was a bit scared [de fazer cenas picantes]but not for me but for the eyes of the public. People have seen me playing girls, heroines, and now this character breaks everything. It brings a sensuality that isn’t just mine, it’s something all women have and can discover. I’ve discovered it over the years and being able to use it on stage has been very enriching.”

When asked how she deals with her body being more exposed in front of the cameras and the public, the actress is categorical: if it’s about work, vanity doesn’t come into play. “I often say that on stage vanity remains on the outside. I don’t think about whether my body is beautiful or not. Acting goes against vanity, because you have to have confidence. If you think about hair, makeup, butt, thighs, you don’t focus on what really matters. So, as an actress, I don’t allow myself the luxury of having vanity on stage. Giullia, obviously, has her moments outside of there, but I leave that to my personal life.”

The series The owners of the game (Netflix) will premiere on Wednesday, the 29th, on streaming. In addition to Giulia Buscacio and Xamã, the series also features André Lamoglia, Juliana Paes, Mel Maia, among other well-known names.
