The actor Alexander Nerointerpreter of Marcus Aurelius in the remake of Everything is finefrom the TVGloborevealed details about her experience playing one of the soap opera’s most memorable characters. Known to be the businessman responsible for the successful heist Hear Roitmann (lived by Deborah Bloch), the actor said he was surprised by the changes proposed by the author Manuela Diaswho brought a new look to the classic villain. Despite the crimes committed in the plot, Marcus Aurélius ended up winning over the public for the light and humorous way in which he was portrayed.




During your participation in the program Uncensoredfrom the TV Brazilthis Tuesday (28), Nero shared his first impressions of the role. “I knew it [a novela antiga] I heard about it and said, ‘Great, I’ll play the bad guy to break everything.’ But then, when I met Manuela Dias, author of the novel, she said to me: ‘Are you ready to make Brazil love you?’. I said “No, I’m ready to be hated.” Then I didn’t understand anything.”he said, recalling the beginning of his journey on the project.

Transformation into the role of the villain

The actor explained that, over time, he realized the novelty Marcus Aurelius would have a comedic streak, different from the original version of Reginaldo Fariain 1988. “When I started reading [o roteiro]I began to understand. She was more interested in humor. And then when it aired I understood even more. I tried to do it as sincerely as possible, but it didn’t help. When the text is funny, everyone around it is funny”he said, noting the light atmosphere backstage.

At the end of the plot, Hear Roitmann he reappeared alive after being rescued by Freitas (played by Luis Lobianco), which took many viewers by surprise. Regarding the ending, Nero he joked with the audience: “It’s the hit of Vale Tudo, right? I’ve never seen it before!”and concluded in good humor: “I’m celebrating killing Odete. Odete is dead, guys. She hasn’t been resurrected. Ever. It’s her soul.”
