The singer lamented the death of her son on social media: “You left the world too soon”
Ronnie Turner, son of singers Tina Turner, 83, and Ike Turner (1931-2007), died last Thursday, aged 8, aged 62. The information was confirmed by his wife, singer Afida Turner, on social media.
“My husband, my best friend, my baby. I did my best until the end, this time I couldn’t save you. I love you for these 17 years. (…) Rest in peace in heaven. It’s so unfair,” Afida wrote in a post on Instagram🇧🇷
Singer Tina Turner also posted on social media mourning her son’s death: “Ronnie, you left the world too soon. With sadness, I close my eyes and think of you, my beloved son.”
According to the US website tmz extensionPolice received a call on Thursday from a person who said the actor was on the street in the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, USA, and having difficulty breathing. When paramedics arrived, they tried to revive him, but he was pronounced dead.
The cause of death was not disclosed, but the site noted that Ronnie had been dealing with several health issues over the past few years, including cancer.
In 2018, Tina Turner lost another son, Craig Raymond Turner, at the age of 59. She is also the mother of Ike Turner Jr., 64, and Michael Turner, 63.
