Lucy Alves will sing in Roberto Carlos’ special: “Zerei a vida”

Actress and singer Lucy Alves will appear in double dose on the Globo screen this Friday (23/12). After starring in the telenovela “Travessia”, in the role of Brisa, she will sing as a special guest at Roberto Carlos’ traditional end-of-year show.

In the musical programme, Lucy will perform “De Volta Pro Aconchego”, a Dominguinhos hit immortalized by Elba Ramalho, and a Roberto classic, “Como Vai Você”, a composition by Antônio Marcos recorded by the King in 1972 – and re-recorded by Daniela Mercury in 2000. In addition to singing, Lucy will also play the accordion during the performance.

“‘Zerei a vida’ was the first thing I said! I think it’s a milestone for everything it represents,” said the star, moved by the opportunity to perform alongside Roberto.

“To be next to a boy who was the forerunner of so many musical movements, so important to the history of music, an artist who inspires by being a composer, being active to this day, shaking our lives with so many songs, with this romance . .. He is too much. I’m very happy, thankful to dad from heaven, really.”

For those unfamiliar with Lucy Alves’ musical career, she began her journey as a child, joining musical groups in Paraíba, her hometown. Her national recognition came in mid-2013, when she won the second place of the second season of “The Voice Brasil”, as a singer and multi-instrumentalist.

With four albums, he also has a nomination for a Latin Grammy for the album “Lucy Alves & Clã Brasil no Forró do Seu Rosil”, from 2015.

In 2022, however, his focus was television. Besides starring in ‘Travessia’, she has appeared in ‘The Masked Singer Brasil’ and played Deusa in the country series ‘Só Se For Por Amor’, which was released-and already cancelled-by Netflix.

“I think I’m ending the year in the best way. I have nothing to complain about 2022,” said Brisa’s interpreter. “It’s been a very good year for me, professionally and personally, but to conclude, participating in the Roberto Carlos special is fantastic, isn’t it?”

Roberto Carlos Special will also receive the sertaneja duo Maiara & Maraísa and the group Raça Negra on its blue stage. But the most anticipated moment is undoubtedly the tribute prepared for the faithful friend, travel companion and companion of many journeys, Erasmo Carlos, the singer’s greatest musical partner, who passed away in November at the age of 81.
