AM founder Simon Kumar Ponnusami said in an interview that Depp most likely bought the glasses, as the brand rarely donates its accessories to celebrities:
We only made 75 frames, there was a limited edition. We assume he bought them with his own money, this is not our gift to him.” Simon also admitted that they were “inundated with messages from people offering any money for such a frame.
So far, AM has no plans to relaunch such frames, but who knows what lies ahead for this winning model?
