Actor Frankie Grande has publicly voiced support for his sister Ariana Grande on Instagram following concerns over the pop star's health and weight loss. On Friday, the 43-year-old actor shared footage from the 33-year-old singer's final North American tour show in Chicago.

"Family forever," Frankie declared in the caption of his post. "I will have your back until the end of time. I am so proud of you and so happy for you."

Representatives for Frankie and Ariana Grande have not yet responded to requests for comment.

Frankie was joined by their mother, 69-year-old Joan Grande, on Thursday night at the United Center in Chicago for Ariana's last of three shows at the venue.

"Last night was a beautiful celebration of your artistry and the magnificent eternal sunshine family you have built and created," Frankie wrote. "It was a magical night. You are magical. You are my everything and I am so so happy I was there to see you shine on this tour one last time."

The final sentence was a play on words, as the video clip featured Ariana singing the chorus of her 2014 hit song "One Last Time."

Health scrutiny surrounding Ariana intensified last week after she released a music video for her song "Petal," in which she appeared onscreen with her sternum protruding. The video prompted a response from British actress and activist Jameela Jamil, who suggested an eating disorder could be at play.

The title track of her latest album addresses the pressures of fame with lyrics stating: "Tell me who's to blame, is it the people or myself? / But this time feels so very different / This is not a cry for help."

Planned Hiatus from Public Visibility

Two days after the album and music video release, a representative announced through People magazine that Ariana will take a step back from visibility after completing her Eternal Sunshine Tour. The spokesperson stated she looks forward to finishing the tour and ending it on a high note, both healthily and happily, before taking a much-deserved break from public-facing work and appearances, which has led to ongoing public scrutiny.

It was also revealed that the entertainer will no longer join her Wicked co-star Jonathan Bailey in the London musical Sunday in the Park with George, scheduled for summer 2027.

Ariana later insisted to fans during a subsequent concert that her hiatus from the spotlight was planned a long time ago, stating that "boundaries need to be set."

She clarified that the decision to pause public appearances was quietly orchestrated a long time ago and was not made because "negativity was ruining things for me." Emphasizing that "multiple things can be true at the same time," she noted, "Yes, boundaries, they need to be set. Human beings can need a break sometimes."

The singer added that her tour, which kicked off in North America in June and concludes with 10 London dates in September, "will continue to be the greatest experience of my professional and creative life."

Podcast Remarks and Social Media Messages

The planned break follows comments Ariana made in November 2025 on the Good Hang with Amy Poehler podcast, where she shared that this tour would be her last for the foreseeable future. She explained that her pop career had taken over her life and that she planned to prioritize other passions.

After wrapping up her North American shows, the 7 Rings hitmaker addressed her 363 million Instagram followers, expressing disbelief that the North American leg had concluded. She wrote that she was overwhelmed with love and the deepest gratitude for the past few months.

"I will cherish every moment of this time with you all & these memories forever," she told fans. "Thank you, Chicago … London, I cannot wait to see you soon. I love you all more than ever."

Earlier in the week, Frankie Grande posted a series of explicit photos online, posing naked in a gym selfie.
