Actor Glen Powell has confirmed his relationship with girlfriend Michelle Randolph is very serious following months of public romance speculation. The 37-year-old actor made the comments while out in New York City on Thursday when asked about the status of their relationship and potential marriage plans.
Addressing questions from TMZ about whether their romance was getting serious and if an engagement was on the cards, Powell offered a clear response about their bond. "I'd say it's very serious," he responded.
Going Public on Social Media
The public confirmation comes after Powell made their relationship social media official earlier in the summer. He posted a photograph of the couple kissing as part of his Fourth of July carousel on Instagram.

When asked if taking such a leap and sharing the post could be nerve-wracking, the actor dismissed the idea. "No, it's never nerve-wracking if you believe in it," Powell told TMZ during his outing in New York City.
The pair have spent the summer in public displays of affection throughout the Big Apple as their romance continued to develop in the public eye.

Early Rumors and Personal Privacy
Dating speculation surrounding the couple first began in November, when Powell and Randolph were spotted hitting the dance floor together at a honky-tonk bar in Texas. Reports published shortly after the Texas outing claimed the two had only been seeing each other for a few months and were simply having fun.
Randolph, 28, first addressed her relationship with Powell in February, roughly three months after they initially set off dating rumors. Speaking to InStyle magazine, the actress explained her choice to keep her romantic life separate from her public profile.

"I think, for peace of mind, those are really important for me to keep separate," Randolph told the publication at the time, adding that how people perceive someone publicly is not who they actually are.
The actress went on to emphasize her desire to keep her private life out of the spotlight. "It's just…I don't think anything good comes from that, because it's your personal life," Randolph explained. "It should be personal and reserved for yourself and those who are close to you. So, ironically, I think I've learned that I want to keep it private."
Past Romance and Hollywood Roles
Powell previously dated fashion model Gigi Paris until their split in April 2023. He later sparked romance rumors with his Anyone But You castmate Sydney Sweeney during the press tour for the 2023 romantic comedy film, though both actors have explicitly denied ever dating or becoming romantically involved.
Powell has recently starred in major film projects, leading the cast of the 2024 blockbuster disaster movie Twisters. He has also stepped into the leading role for the 2025 science fiction action film The Running Man, an upcoming feature based on the classic novel by Stephen King.
On television, Powell appeared in the debut season of the Hulu comedy series Chad Powers, which has already been officially renewed for a second installment by the streaming platform.
Randolph launched her acting career in 2017 before portraying Elizabeth Strafford in the hit series 1923, a Western drama prequel to Yellowstone.
She currently stars as Ainsley Norris in creator Taylor Sheridan's drama series Landman, a series set in Texas oil country, where she shares the screen with co-stars Demi Moore, Billy Bob Thornton, and Ali Larter.
