Brazilian singer Gusttavo Lima, 36, shared a video of himself being stopped at a police checkpoint while returning from a show in Caico, in the interior of Rio Grande do Norte.
In the footage, the singer showed himself taking a breathalyzer test and giving officers his registered name, Nivaldo Batista Lima. One officer asked whether he was the singer and wanted to know the name of his band.
When he confirmed he was Gusttavo Lima, a second officer approached and said he was the greatest singer in Brazil and the new king.
Sharing the clip, the singer joked that even someone famous still goes through ordinary situations, adding that not even the ambassador escapes, and praising the work of the Federal Highway Police.
