Halle Berry has thanked fans for their well wishes as she celebrated her 60th birthday on Friday.
The Oscar-winning actress posted a selfie on Instagram showing her beaming while holding a birthday card up to the camera.

"Thank you from my heart for all the birthday love," the mother of two wrote in the caption. "I'm grateful to still be here!!"

Tens of thousands of followers commented on the post, including actor Jamie Foxx, who sent his well wishes.
'Carefree' photoshoot
The birthday post arrived a day after Berry shared a separate set of images posing in a low-cut lace nightgown on the final day of her fifties.
"Today.... I don't give a f--k," the former Bond girl wrote underneath the pictures.
The photoshoot showed Berry going braless beneath a black and red garment while sucking on a chocolate covered strawberry.

Another image featured the star cozying up to her musician fiance Van Hunt. The actress, wearing a red silk robe, planted a kiss on his lips between bites of a peach.

Berry and Hunt started dating in the summer of 2020 and recently confirmed they are engaged to be married.
Milestone birthday
The actress spoke about approaching the milestone during an appearance on the TODAY show in June.
"I feel different than I thought I would feel at 60. You know, what is 60? What is age anymore? It's a feeling," she said.
"I feel stronger, smarter, wiser, more myself, more in control, I'm the best version of myself at the moment and I'm so glad that I'm still here and healthy."
Diet and fitness routine
Berry uses a strict eating plan to maintain her age-defying appearance and manage the diabetes she was diagnosed with at the age of 22. Her diet for decades has consisted of steak, lamb, chicken, eggs and leafy greens.
"My health was on the line, so I went cold turkey on my sugar-filled ways," she previously told Women's Health. "Out the window went the candy, the desserts, and even super-sweet fruit."
The actress works out five days a week with a personal trainer she describes as her "secret weapon." Her routine includes yoga, strength training, cardio and martial arts.
Berry said she adjusted her exercise regimen to include weightlifting after entering menopause.
"I used to do a lot of cardio," she said. "Right now, I'm trying to put muscle mass on, so I lift weights now, and I never used to lift weights before.
"I only did my own body weight and cardio like cycling and running. Now I just do pretty much boring, what I find boring, but it's necessary for this stage of life, really just heavier weights than I've ever lifted, and I do it probably two days a week at least."
