The feature film Jack Ryan: Covert War, starring John Krasinski, is now available for digital purchase on Apple TV and Rakuten TV outside Amazon Prime Video.
The release allows non-subscribers to watch the movie without signing up for a monthly video on demand plan with Amazon.

John Krasinski portrayed Jack Ryan, a financial analyst turned CIA field agent created by author Tom Clancy, across four television seasons between 2018 and 2023. The standalone feature replaced a fifth season that was never produced, concluding the character's storyline after several years of waiting.
Krasinski co-wrote the screenplay for the movie alongside regular series writers Aaron Rabin and Noah Oppenheim. While Prime Video subscribers previously followed the series, the platform now features the show Jack Reacher.
Pricing and Digital Platforms
Viewers can purchase the film on Rakuten TV for 10.99 euros or on Apple TV for 10.99 euros. Neither platform offers a rental option for users who want temporary access to the movie.
Amazon also sells the feature film for 9.99 euros on its platform, with options for standard definition, high definition and ultra high definition quality. Non-subscribers can buy the film directly from Amazon to complete Krasinski's storyline without paying a recurring subscription fee.
Plot Details and Dubai Mission
The movie picks up after Jack Ryan leaves his career as a field agent to lead a quiet life as a financial analyst on Wall Street. His former boss, James Greer, sends him on an assignment to Dubai to collect a confidential package.
The meeting ends with the murder of Ryan's contact, forcing him to return to international espionage.
Ryan teams up with former operative Mike November and MI6 agent Emma Marlow. Together, they discover that a renegade former British officer, Liam Crown, has reactivated the missing Operation Starlink.
Crown intends to carry out false flag attacks to provoke a new international conflict, forcing Ryan to intervene before a global crisis breaks out.
