Jason Momoa and Adria Arjona have joined Miles Teller in the upcoming crime thriller Copperhead ahead of its sales launch at the Toronto International Film Festival.
Kiefer Sutherland and Tenoch Huerta have also joined the ensemble cast for the Black Media production, which begins principal photography in September.
Distribution rights for the feature film will be offered to prospective buyers at the Toronto International Film Festival, which opens on September 10 in Ontario, Canada. Details regarding individual character roles are currently being kept under wraps by the producers.
John Swab will direct the feature from a screenplay written by Chad Feehan and J. Todd Scott. The narrative follows a secret drug deal that devolves into a violent confrontation, leaving a veteran detective forced to team up with a federal agent to uncover a conspiracy inside his elite task force.

Jason Momoa recently portrayed the villain Lobo in Supergirl. His upcoming film projects include Dune: Part 3, Street Fighters, Minecraft Movie, and Fast Forever. The actor is widely known for portraying Aquaman in the DC Extended Universe and Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones.
Adria Arjona recently appeared in the feature films Blink Twice and Hit Man, and is set to enter the DC universe in Superman: Man of Tomorrow. The Puerto Rican actress also starred in the Star Wars television series Andor.
Miles Teller leads the production as protagonist. Teller previously starred in major feature films including Top Gun: Maverick and Whiplash. Veteran actor Kiefer Sutherland is best known for his portrayal of Jack Bauer in the action series 24, while Mexican actor Tenoch Huerta gained prominence playing Namor in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
