Jennifer Garner met up with her ex-husband Ben Affleck and two of their children in Santa Monica on Saturday to celebrate his 54th birthday.
The 54-year-old Elektra actress was spotted on a solo outing in Los Angeles earlier in the day, wearing casual attire as she ran errands and worked out before joining her former spouse and their family for a celebratory lunch.
Garner picked up coffee at the Brentwood Country Mart, a retail center located in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles, before meeting up with a female friend for a morning exercise session.
She stepped out makeup-free wearing a dark blue pullover layered over a gray T-shirt, paired with green leggings, a blue baseball cap, tall socks, and green rubber mules. She carried only her essentials in her hands, holding her mobile phone, water bottle, and sunglasses as she briskly walked through the lush Los Angeles neighborhood.
Following her workout, Garner was seen walking alongside her friend as they headed to the exact location in Santa Monica where Affleck had just been spotted with two of their children.
Family Birthday Celebration
Fin, 17, and Samuel, 14, joined the Batman star to celebrate his birthday as a family at the Santa Monica venue.
The former couple's eldest child, 20-year-old Violet, was unable to attend the gathering as she had returned to Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, to begin her junior year.
Garner and Affleck were married for ten years before announcing their separation in 2015 and finalizing their divorce three years later in 2018.
Garner first rose to fame starring as secret agent Sydney Bristow in the action drama series Alias before featuring in films including 13 Going on 30 and playing Marvel comic hero Elektra Natchios. Affleck is an Academy Award-winning actor and director who won Oscars for co-writing Good Will Hunting and directing Argo, in addition to portraying superhero Bruce Wayne in the DC Extended Universe.

Most recently, Garner has been filming her newest leading role in the upcoming Peacock series The Five-Star Weekend, on which she also serves as an executive producer.
The drama series stars Garner as a food influencer grieving the sudden loss of her late husband. While processing her grief, she invites her close friends to gather for a weekend getaway on the island of Nantucket in Massachusetts.
Adapted from author Elin Hilderbrand's best-selling novel of the same name, the story follows four female friends as they uncover secrets and reflect on their shared history across various stages of life. The show's core friend group also stars Regina Hall, Chloe Sevigny, D'Arcy Carden, and Gemma Chan.
The series premiered in early July, with Garner speaking to Elle magazine about the significance of a female-led drama exploring midlife experiences.
"I hope people watch this and have a blast," she told the outlet. "You have women in their 30s, 40s, 50s, talking about perimenopause and menopause, but it's not pedantic and it's not an eye roll."
